Day before landfall |
We made it! We had to motor the last 130 miles but we are on a dock in the unfinished marina (so no charge) and getting ready to use our legs again. The island is beautiful and I can't wait to walk the hills and towns.
Thanks to all our blog watchers for your good wishes and comments.
More later,
Branko

Glad to hear it! How long will you stay there, and how long is the next 'hop'?
Congrats! I called your Mom and let her know you were all safe and sound!

About time. Sohpie was starting to get irritated... Welcome ashore Jim & Joan
Thank God!! I was worried you'd get scurvy. I hope you find your land legs. (After a week on your boat, it took me 1 1/2 days to walk normally).
So happy you made it safely. Xo
Mom is glad that you are safe. Hoping to see you. Let me know as soon as possible where would be the best for me to meet up with you. Love and Hugs, Mom and Taz
Congratulations Maggie & Branko....we are so glad your dream is moving on - safe and sound too! Wendy & Dan
Yay! Congrats on a safe journey and thanks for sharing with us... felt like we were right there with you. Tricksie thinks you should treat Sophie to some fresh fish after enduring that long torturous fish famine at sea.

The maiden Atlantic crossing of the H2OBO and her crew successfully completed. Congratulations!

Such good news! Batman was getting worried (especially after reading about those "foaming seas").
Congratulations Maggie and Branko. Looking forward to seeing some more nice pictures.
